It was 4:30am on Friday and we were not just wide awake but out on to the roads....Shopping! And why not, Its the Black Friday after Thanksgiving and its ought to be so. After watching 'Darjeeling Limited' (Supposed to b a comedy movie) till 12 at night, it was difficult to wake up at 4:15am but it's like: "Do you wanna catch sum extra sleep or do u wanna save sum extra bucks" and I guess u understand that V chose the second..;)
V reached r first stop "TARGET-Expect more, Pay less" store at 4:50 and to r surprise there were people sprawling all around the building...November Rush I guess! As advertised, the store doors sprung open at 5am and within 2min the store reached its full capacity. People were rushing to pik up HDTV's, Wi games, Kitchen ware and anything that went on sale! R target was to get hold of a toaster and sandwich maker if lucky...n we cud make one of it! It tuk us almost an hour to make out of the already flocked billing lines. This seemed really odd, as finding people here in this state is a rare sight.
Just to continue this fun, we went to Wal-Mart and believe me, its no less! So, v just strolled thru the store watching the crowds and luking thru the items. Finally it was 6:20 and chandu had sum surprise in store for me. After all, I had been pestering him for this for quiet sum time now. So, we drove to the Jax beach. It was cold out and so after waiting for a few minutes in the car, walked down to the beach to watch the Sun rise. Beach and Sun rise. I guess u can imagine. It was breath taking. Enjoyed this for a little more time and then drove back home for sum b'fast.
A totally eventful morning....Since cuming to florida, I think tis is the first time we woke to see the Sun Rise!
